Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory of Australia is a dramatic landscape. While hitch-hiking through Australia many years ago, one of my rides was on their way here. The family was so very gracious to have me join in on a trip that I would have never been able to get to otherwise. In 1987, this park, which is half owned by the Aborignal people, was in it’s infancy.
I have created 3 pendants to be looped together to form the cascading effect of the Jim Jim Falls. The diamonds represent the glint of sunlight off of the cascading water.
These pendants can also be worn individually… which I think could be seen as the dry season!
